Q: What gets you out of bed in the morning? A: Seamus, our dog, gets me out of bed every morning. The first light is his favorite light.
Q: If you were stuck on an island, what three things would you bring? A: Bonnie (my wife), Seamus (our dog), and a radio with three stations (news, Sinatra, and Motown.)
Q: What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional? A: Whatever role I play in my family of wife, four children, and seven grandkids.
Q: What is the one thing you can't live without? A: It's very hard to live without pets.
Q: What is your favorite meal? A: My favorite meal would be onion soup, cheeseburger medium rare, onion rings, and any custard for dessert.
Q: Tell us a little about yourself. Why should anyone hire you to work for them in a real estate transaction? A: I've been a full-time realtor for nearly 40 years. While many changes have occurred (sales agreements were two pages when I started), there are certain constants. None is more important than remembering we as agents are there to serve our clients, and that is only accomplished by completing the sale. Critical to that is navigating the inevitable "speed bumps" that one travels over during the transaction. I believe fostering a cooperative relationship between the parties will best ease the trip. We, as agents, should always be looking for solutions. Many times, the initial issue will prompt another issue. However, if the agents focus on the task at hand, not their own egos, the chances of success for their clients are best assured.
