The first phase of the 58-acre Billings Clinic campus is underway at E Valley Center Road and N 27th Avenue in Bozeman. Slated to open spring or early summer of 2022, the clinic will serve the greater Gallatin Valley and provide a multi-specialty physician group practice, urgent care, and outpatient surgical services. The campus includes 125,000 square feet of Destination Ambulatory Care and an Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Patients will also receive outreach services from Billings Clinic and access to Mayo Clinic Specialists through Billings Clinic’s Mayo Clinic Care Network affiliation.
Billings Clinic OB/GYN and Billings Clinic Bozeman Pediatrics, which have been serving the area since 1976, will relocate to a portion of the new facility. Radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy services will also be housed in the building.
The new clinic is expected to employ 250 people, including more than 50 providers.
“We are excited to be here,” said Scott Ellner, MD, Billings Clinic CEO. “The Gallatin Valley is thriving and growing incredibly quickly, and that means there’s a growing need for more health care. As the region’s largest health care system, Billings Clinic has a long tradition of providing safe, high-quality care with a focus on the needs of each individual and community, and we’re excited to be expanding that mission to Bozeman and the surrounding area.”
As Bozeman continues to grow, so does the health care need. Extensive thought and research about what services are needed went into the master planning for the campus. This included a feasibility study based on projected growth and the associated needs.
Bozeman-based Martel Construction is the general contractor for phase one of the new Campus, and Montana-based firms Cushing Terrell and Sanderson Stewart designed and engineered the project.
