5- Contra Dance. The Eagles Lodge (upstairs) downtown Bozeman Helena's Sassafras Stomp will play Celtic reels, jigs, and waltzes. Mark Matthews will teach and call the dances. A half-hour beginners workshop will be held at 7:30 p.m. The dance begins at 8:00 p.m. Families, singles and couples are welcome. Beginners are encouraged to come early as the dances may become more complex at the evening progresses. Admission is $7 for Bozeman Folklore Members, $9 for non-members and $5 for MSU students and 18 and under. Five years and under are free. Please wear clean, grit-free, non-marking shoes to protect the floor.

13- Museum of the Rockies 20th Anniversary Ball. Open seating tickets are $150 per person for Museum members and $175 per person for non-members includes dancing, food and an open bar. 22-23 Special Olympics Montana. Moonlight Basin is hosting the Special Olympics Montana's first Big Sky Area Winter Games. Over 100 athletes and coaches from the Big Sky Area and Yellowstone Valley Area are expected to compete in alpine skiing, snowshoeing and nordic skiing events.
