sale_chris_boswell_450zillow.com - In some ways, the buyer-real estate agent relationship is similar to a romantic one. In either situation, the relationship’s success or failure depends a lot on picking the “right” partner from the beginning. Chemistry and communications also play an important role.

Here’s how you can find the best real estate agent “match” and nurture that relationship to achieve your goal: buying your dream home.

heart_of_montana_circle_1109Heart of Montana is not your typical real estate agency. The owners, brokers, agents and staff will make you feel welcome from the moment you step into their office. My immediate impression was their concern for the customer. They listened to what we wanted and steadfastly used that information to guide us through the Bozeman market during a time of high volatility and price fluctuations. It was comforting to have guidance from "locals" who knew the market very well.

Heart of Montana is not a large national company, but they are large in Bozeman for a reason --they put the customer first and align their success with yours.

Heart of Montana has my highest unconditional recommendation. - Clem Izurieta    To read more of this review, click the link below:

jodysavage_960As first time home buyers, Jody guided us through the home buying process, explaining the process and answering all of our questions (of which we had many) and did it all with a smile. She looked out for us and negotiated the best deals for us, eventually landing us in our dream house. We didn't expect to find our dream house in our price range, but she found it! Jody is incredibly responsive and diligent, working with us day and night, weekdays and weekends to get the deal done. She was fun, easy to work with and offered great customer service. I never felt pushed by her to go one way or the other, but she offered sound and honest advice, allowing us to make our own educated decisions. She went above and beyond to help schedule things and meet with folks

bozeman_city_of_bozeman_468For her contributions to the following transcript of a conversation this week, I need to thank Bonnie Martin, broker/owner of Heart of Montana Realty in downtown Bozeman, for giving us her honest best during this interview—no questions unanswered, full candor, no retractions.

TBM: We’ve heard a few rumors… but why don’t you paint a clear picture of Bozeman’s real estate market right now?

Bonnie: In the downtown area, it’s still very similar to 2006. A lot of people have discovered Bozeman as an ideal place to live. It’s the feel of that—the beauty, the college, great schools, mountains, and the walking distance, the simple lifestyle.

But what about the real estate market? I’m hearing it’s crazy-silly out there.

Bonnie: Bozeman has always been
